Have you ever hit a shot that was absolutely terrible? You proceed to drop another ball and,
bingo, a great shot. What happened in those few seconds between shots? Same golfer, different swing. It has happened to all of us. What are your stories and your insight?

You are coming down the back nine in contention. You are in the hunt and you are all tied on the 17th. Everything falls apart on the last hole and you come in second. Ever have this happen to
you? Let's talk!

You are standing on the tee and you know its going in the hole. You hit the ball just as you envisioned it, a perfect shot into the cup. A hole in one! A premonition? Simultaneous multiple realities? A guardian angel? The power of visualization? What was your experience?

You reach the green in regulation with the expectation that you will two putt and make par. All of a
sudden you can't sink a putt to save your life. You three putt and leave with a dreaded bogie. What happened? What were you thinking and how did you feel? Share your story.

One day awhile back my friend OB and I were out having one of our typical uneventful rounds at his club. We weren't playing very well by our standards, not that our standards mean a whole hell of a lot, especially when you consider that we were both spraying and slapping our balatas around the course that day. Even though our golf was pitiful at best, we were still enjoying one another's mishaps.
At the Par 3, 11th hole, OB teed it up with a six iron which normally would be too much club; however, prior to his shot he made the comment that he was going to hit a knock down "Chapman" shot. He proceeded to top it dead left just enough to catch the left side of the pond in front of the green.
He looked at me and said, "Termie, let me hit another." "Certainly," I said.
He teed up a second ball and made one of the best knock down draws I'd seen in a long time. The ball landed three feet on the front of the green and rolled within one foot of the pin.
"Nice shot . . . Second Ball Hall of Fame," I exclaimed.
"Take that, Chapman," he spouted.
Chappie, now there's a head case . . . |
